Celebrating the many cultures that make up the USA, these festivals offer music and dance performances on several stages, storytelling, crafts exhibitions, and foodways presented by authentic ethnic and folk artists. Past performance lists have included Puerto Rican, Piedmont blues, Klezmer, African American gospel, and Cambodian artists. A glorious smorgasbord!

American Folk Festival on the Bangor Waterfront - www.americanfolkfestival.com
Folks in Bangor, Maine, had so much fun when they hosted the National Folk Festival that they are now holding their own festival. Last year's performers represented Creole, Tsimshian, flamenco, Greek, Ivory Coast, bluegrass and other traditions. 4th weekend of August.
