Hostels provide common kitchens for preparing your own meals, and sometimes offer reasonably priced dinners and breakfasts. Time and season: May and September are apt to have less rain. High season is from June through August, with many special events. Weather: The Gulf Stream moderates the climate. Rain is frequent but can be light; summers are pleasantly warm. Winters are wet, with little snow or frost. Palm trees grow here!
